The W.C. Bradley Co. is a privately-held company that was founded in 1885 and has a heritage in textiles and farm implement manufacturing. Company founder William Clark Bradley also led an investment syndicate that became a major shareholder in Coca-Cola Company and ultimately installed him as chairman of the beverage maker from 1919 to 1939. That investment yielded a significant nest egg that funded W.C. Bradley Co.’s operations and helped fuel its growth.
Today the holding company operates diverse businesses through five operating segments that market and distribute outdoor goods like sports equipment and apparel, barbecue grills and torches. W.C. Bradley companies also sell and develop residential, retail and mixed use properties and operate a golf superstore in Florida. The company’s headquarters are in Columbus, GA.
